Take a look at our lab trials at work, showing the magical effects of Slugzilla! How does it work? We studied slugs to understand their strengths, weaknesses and habits. As marine biologists we also studied macroalgae (seaweeds) to understand their value as plant stimulants which can be combined with slug repellent plant extracts. Knowing this we developed a formula combining all of these elements using specialist equipment to create a user friendly liquid formula. So those slugs won’t like the taste, but your plants will.

So how is it actually applied, presumably its a concentrate which is diluted. I am interested in this, have been using beer traps which are pretty good but always looking for new ways to do things

Hello Martin,
Thanks for your post. Slugzilla is a concentrate which works best if diluted and applied by garden sprayer with a lance as the fine mist covers the plants. It can be applied by watering can but you get more efficient coverage through a pump sprayer. Beer traps attract slugs and snails as they like the smell and taste. Whereas Slugzilla has been designed as a double action product to be a safe, non-toxic repellent as well as a bio stimulant to feed and strengthen plants. Unlike toxic products Slugzilla does not poison or kill slugs, but simply repels them, thereby maintaining the ecological balance.

What a brilliant idea

Hello Caroline, thank you for your comment. Slugzilla has been developed as a natural, safe, bio nutrient and slug deterrant, dual product.

Could you let me know the dilution rate, I have a large garden and am trying to work out how much I would need. Brilliant idea, well done.

Hello Cheryl,
15ml of Slugzilla to 1 Litre of Water so 1 litre will make 70 litres.
Hand pump pressure spray applicators work best for coverage.
